I can't seem to steal the towel it just tells me that there are lots of small towels and 1 big one but no options
without starting the game from the start, as I have completed it up to the current update and I have found and done it all.
best I can remember just keep playing the game and us roll back to explore all choices before selecting one, you will get the option to steal the big towel when the time is right

On day 8 I checked the towels and then looked at her, and show came out wearing the big towel
