I will start playing this game again when it is full and you can control absolutely everyone in the game. I'm tired of having an update error and playing again on PC
One of the things I appreciate about Alto and Herdone's work is their attention to detail. Take Maxine's fundraising. Originally, it was just one event that spanned an entire week. But now, in 0.16, it's tied into the story in many ways and is a culmination of an entire quest line that includes Rachel' quest, Lucy's, Ada's, Priti's and Liz's new quest. However, you only notice this if you start the game from the beginning.
I've also noticed that many quests have been reworked and refined. This game is now so big and epic that you can spend at least several days on it. You are taken on a rollercoaster of emotions that you only get from the best movies or great literature. An example of great storytelling in a small space: the group punishment of the entire class followed by a hug.
By now we know all the characters so well that the exchange of a few words between each of the seven couples clearly reveals the feelings and connections of each pair. Pachebel's Canon in D, which you don't hear every day in a play for adults, plays in the background. A better, stronger condensation of emotions is hardly possible.
There are thousands and thousands of game developers out there ... hardly any of them, even if they try for years, will be able to produce something that can compete with even a single episode of “The Headmaster”.
