The story followsĀ Jake, a disillusioned college dropout who gambled everything on a failed business venture. Left with nothing, heās forced to return to his familyās secluded home on the outskirts of town - a place he thought heād left behind for good.

As strange and unsettling events unfold inside the house, the family he once knew begins to act disturbingly out of character. In his search for answers, Jake finds himself increasingly drawn into the influence ofĀ Rose, his landlady ( or any relationship you can alter) - whose presence and behavior seem deeply connected to the houseās secrets.
While Jake remains the central viewpoint character,Ā the narrative currently places strong emphasis on Rose, making her theĀ second main protagonistĀ of the story. The plot heavily revolves around her actions, choices, and shifting personalities, with Jakeās role gradually evolving as the story progresses.
The game featuresĀ three main routes, each reflecting a different side of Roseās personality:
- Obsession: Depraved and corrupted
- Corruption: Gentle and passive
- Resistance: Arrogant and cold
Player choices will shape Jakeās fate - and determine which version of Rose ultimately emerges - leading to multiple endings.
