Please keep in mind this is a real-time 3D it will need a decent GPU. On low-end machines it may work slowly or doesn't work at all.
Use 16:9 aspect ratio screen resolutions (such as 1280x720, 1920x1080 and so on) to avoid issues.
Some users experience pink/magenta glitch in the game. This is caused by old/low-end graphics cards. A hardware upgrade is recommended.

Dump Current - Save game logic to a SCENENAME.dmp file for the current scene (saves to: .TheTwist_Data...) as plaintext.
Dump All - Attempts to load and dump every scene in the game, (this might take awhile depending on system specs)

Prompts for a value when the game does a random roll, this is what decides who visits during the night scenes etc (requires knowledge of Scene Dumps to use effectively)
InstantText:
Increases the speed that the text is written to the dialogue box during scenes to near instant
RunInBackground:
Keep the game running when not in focus

Hit F9 to toggle the menu.

I wonder how long the whole "Pay to play" thing is going to last. For the longest time we've put up with ugly character models, buggy interface, and the long grind of the game. After all the money he's made on this you would thing he would make things look better before introducing a pay wall. Sorry dude your game isn't that good to pay for a mediocre product.
But its good enough to be pirated apparently. The version on this site is a cracked one. If you actually tried you can click connect to patreon and it goes right through, bypassing the pay wall. Its actually kinda crappy that the dev has to put in a pay wall in an attempt to keep the latest version from being just given out for free. So many other games on here (even REALLY BAD ones) have the luxury of no one leaking their current patron versions.
Complete waste of 11.5GB download!

The [final] on this game refers to the specific version since the creator releases updates frequently on their patreon that we don't see here. So the final part is that he is finished with the content he promised for v0.37 and is moving on to v0.38.
to save and load, just click the "connect to patreon" button. it will automaticly connect and you dont have to actually be a patreon
