That's weird. I never had any bug. I started a new game and always chose Nikki when I could and I got her ending without any problem.
You can try to follow the Karen/Nikki route of the walkthrough, but avoid choosing Karen every time you can:
- when you have to buy a book, buy one for Nikki
- choose Nikki as your teammate when you play bowling
- don't put your dick out when Karen asks you
Shame there's no scene library so you can replay scenes. You have to play the whole game again or create loads of saves before an event.
