In the game "Three and One: The Cursed Mansion" it was an ordinary, boring day when my cousin texted me asking for help. His girlfriend and her friends were supposed to head out to some DJ event out of town, but they had a problem with their car, and my cousin was busy today. His girlfriend is Bianca, and her friends are Tori and Zoe. I know them wellāwe went to school together.
They were the coolest girls in school. But... my relationship with them wasnāt exactly smooth. And now Iām going to drive them in my dad's van, hang out with them at the festival, and spend the night in a hotel.

Scene 25 (Tori and Bobo) - created completely from scratch. Previously it was represented by just a few images and was missing from the gallery.
Added a player inventory as a debugging tool (available outside dialogues just like the journal). It has limited functionality - it shows how much money the player has and which story items they are carrying. Itās not useful for anything else - you canāt throw away, sell, or gift items, itās informational only.
Added statistics (icon next to the inventory) - friendship levels, corruption tags, etc.
Added a calendar (clock/day-of-week icon) - allows you to move to any later day in the story. Like any proper time machine, it only works forward - you canāt go back. Relativity remains intact.
Removed corruption as a numerical value (previously shown as a number from 00 to 99).
Added corruption as a system of cryptic letter-based tags nobody understands.
Removed around 500 MB of junk from the game folder (old artwork, etc.).
Added quest location highlighting on the world map .It has one little quirk related to the quest system - for example, if Bianca is currently locked in the shower because of a quest event, then the hotel location will still be highlighted on the map even though thereās no actual active objective there. Not a huge issue. Nobody knows how to fix it š
I dont know who put 5 stars on this but theres no way this AVN deserves it, not for this tiny little Demo. I suspect it was the Dev, trying to inflate their rating.
Anyways: The art is beautiful but there is a hint of an extra finger even in this tiny demo. The choices are minimal and it doesn't matter what you give as your answers to the barmaids riddles, you will get the same result.. lewds.... So why not just remove the riddles and get right too it!
I dont know whats going on with the three girls but I would choose to believe that the MCs stories that they bullied him are accurate and therefore I would snub them all if I get the choice!
But since I dont care at all about this AVN I doubt I will find out the truth.
Im giving this 1 star until it proves it deserves better and to even out the obviously biased 5 star it got.
Of course it's short. It's a demo genius....and if you didn't care at all about it, you wouldn't have taken your time to whine.
The Dev could have held out on release until they had at least an hour worth of play. It would still have been a Demo and it would have been much more worthwhile.
In other words, dont waste my time.
Now some of my purpose of leaving my little 'whine' here is so that others can come and read it and no whats going on before they DL it... thus saving them the time and effort.

If developers are going to use AI heavily then at least make sure the art used is not visually flawed. Also make sure the story telling is higher quality since they are not taking the time on the art.
The only thing that really impresses me about this AVN is that it has fast dev cycle. Of course thats at the cost of the amount of content, so its a moot point in this case.
I still dont like the main three girls, especially since the journal excerpts make it clear how much they bullied the MC in the past. I personally want nothing to do with them.
The story of being magically stuck in the town is interesting but if the Dev expects me to buy into some domination fantasy then I will be stopping right away.
Personally my plan at this point is to find a way out of the town that includes ditching all three of the girls that came with the MC...
I continued with the V0.12 update and this AVN still hasn't impressed me. As I said before the fast Dev time is impressive, but the cost is the amount of content. But in the end that really isnt my issue, I could live with short content releases.
The problem is the oh so common 'Illusion of Choice', as I like to call it. You see the choices dont seem to do anything. You can choose not to see the latest Lewd with Helena by refusing to show her whatever is in the box... but does that achieve anything? Will Ian reward you for keeping his secrets?
Speaking of Ian, you can refuse his box of goodies but Bianca accepts the deal later and he just assumes your going to help him anyway. No choice there..
Ian also assumes you are refusing because you are a pussy but I refused because I dont trust him at all and didnt want to be in his debt.
Hell I dont trust or like any of the characters! Helena is the only one close to earning some trust!

Exactly, that's the good side of AI art. Its fast and no fucking around with 'artists' that either rip the dev off or just fuck around taking their sweet time.
Like I said though, the amount of actual story being added with each new release is very short. An hour at most...The use of AI should be allowing the Dev to put more time into the story and the code...
Maybe this AVN will be worth it in another 6 or releases, when the story has progressed and there is more than 2 lewds... both with the same chick.
