PC: config.set file goes in the Treasure_of_Nadia_-_PC-v.XXXXX\www folder
MAC: Right click on Game.app and choose "Show Package Contents"
Go to Resources > app.nw
Replace config.set file with patch (after making a backup)
Launch game.
When the game says you have an altered file and asks you if you want to change it back say no.

Simply a matter of hanging out in the park. Get into the habit of doing this for about 20 -30 minutes at the end of each update, and you should collect enough treasure to buy the necessary items. Later in the game, I assume Henry will have the opportunity to earn much more money to buy the higher priced items, so he can get booty calls with Madelyn and Sophia Vesper

This is what happens when you're lazy and try to race through the update without any effort. There's a lot more content than that in the update.
It's possible to collect all the items to build the rat trap and then make it, whilst you're just following the story. No running around is required, just the ability to think ahead.
I can not find the basic container at the lighthouse
The container in this latest update can be found in the area behind the bar.
It was possible to make enough bombs for the caves and the secret passage in the lighthouse in an earlier update. If you didn't, then you must have missed something in that earlier update.

Hmm, I usually play Ren'Py games.....how do you update this one without losing your previous saves? Any help would be appreciated.

in this game if you download the latest ver and you have a save file from the previous ver you can just ignore the warning that the old save file won't work (it works for me even if I downloaded the new versions and I still have the save file from old ver)
