MAC: Right click on Game.app and choose "Show Package Contents"
Go to Resources > app.nw
Replace config.set file with patch (after making a backup)
Launch game.
When the game says you have an altered file and asks you if you want to change it back say no.

Just made the love potion, the walkthrough now says to visit the lighthouse but Albert keeps telling me to get out!

She's in one of the church rooms that you can't access yet. You need to find the key to the crypt, it's in one of the rooms you can access, I forget where exactly. Once in there you have a puzzle to solve, and once you do, Madalyn will find you and you can give her the diary.

I recommend new players and old players to not play this game until they put out alot of content. The developer updates the game frequently and because of that the content is not much and its not worth downloading again (the game does have saves from every update so you can start from when the last time you played) so best thing to do is leave the game alone for few months.
I only played 20% of the game even though 36% was available. These games are only fun when they're completed till v1.0
His 2 weekly update is no different from the average update of every game on this platform, except most of them come out every 2-3 months, not every fortnight!
