Patch Instructions:
Unzip the file.
PC: config.set file goes in the Treasure_of_Nadia_-_PC-v.XXXXX\www folder
MAC: Right click on Game.app and choose "Show Package Contents"
Go to Resources > app.nw
Replace config.set file with patch (after making a backup)
Launch game.
When the game says you have an altered file and asks you if you want to change it back say no.
Save Location:

You don't use the broken keys, you have to use the whip to get the key. Its kind of hard to see the key because it blends in into the rock. Its over by where the kayak takes you across the river.
There are only 2 broken keys and you can't use them yet. The chesy key is where the kayak is on the other side of the river

You're going to have a long wait then. I'd say at least another year if not more. This is one game I'm glad I didn't wait to play. It is a sandbox (chart your own path through the story), so you can go as fast or slow as you want. It has frequent updates and tons of story and things to do for only being halfway complete. At nearly 50% is has more content than many fully complete games on here.

What compressed version are you talking about. I've been playing this game since the beginning and I've never seen a compressed version. If you got it from another site instead of here or straight from the dev Patreon then that's your own fault.
You haven't been paying attention, there has been a compressed version available since the very start on fap-nation, but it isn't always available immediately
