PC: config.set file goes in the Treasure_of_Nadia_-_PC-v.XXXXX\www folder
MAC: Right click on Game.app and choose "Show Package Contents"
Go to Resources > app.nw
Replace config.set file with patch (after making a backup)
Launch game.
When the game says you have an altered file and asks you if you want to change it back say no.
Save Location:
Windows:Ā The save files are located in: \Users\<Your User Name>\AppData\Local\User Data.
Linux:Ā ~/.config/KADOKAWA/RPGMV
Mac:Ā Users/Username/Library/Application Support
Android:Ā The save files are in android/data but are only accessible in rooted phones.

why sometimes you can just update your gameplay and sometimes you have to install the game all over?

I can only guess its because of the RPGM engine.
Also making a patch for updates instead of just releasing an updated complete game is more work and you would have to host a patch server which only ups the cost.
You could theoretically upload the patches to mega or other file hosts one by one, but tbh imho ppl would only bitch about that procedure too, cuz most are too stupid to check for version numbers and manually install a patch
