Your mother died several years ago and your father has recently died (Happy start, right ?). You are returning to your childhood home to visit your deceased mother's best friend Monica and Monica's two daughter's whom you grew up.
You haven't seen them in several years (for reasons explained in the game). In addition to these three ladies, there'll be plenty of other characters in play (friends, foes, neighbors, stalkers and the "Coffee-Shop Girl").
Now go ring the doorbell. Monica and the rest of the ladies are waiting...
"Where the Heart is" is a first-person POV adult adventure where you control the Male Main Character. There will lots of female characters (primary characters and supporting characters) to seduce / romance / reject / be rejected by (Remember: You can always reload)
There will be some minor / major plot storylines with a primary focus on conversation based choices & action based choices.
Some characters will be easier/harder to "crack" and some relationships will be a slow-burn romance (or corruption) while others will be a quick passionate affair (or rejection).
It's up to you to get the required results by figuring out what characters like or don't like and making the right choices to get there.

Play the beta version and get the date with Debbie. One of the best dates in VN history. I knew she was the best girl right away along with Jenna and it seems the developer finally saw the truth of things. Also, I really like his rework on Lily's personality. She is still goofy and all, but her comments don't drag for too long and her intelligence is much better showcased here than in the old versions of the game.

The developer is redoing the whole thing first. At this point he's up to chapter seven, and he's putting out about one updated chapter a month. If he maintains this pace, the update should be finished in another year and a half. After that, chapter 25 might take a couple of months, or another year.

You have to go online to play episode 24...As it is loaded to stream..I'm out deleted the game as I cant even use my old saves offline.

He's still redoing the whole thing.
In the redo, he's making improvements to the story, and I think he only wants to do one chapter 25, the improved version. The old saves won't be compatible with the new version.
It sucks, but that's the way he's doing it.
The final chapter might be released in two years or so. Even then, you'll have to play from the beginning.

I agree man it's insanely annoying. It's easy to develop a fuckin weird connection and resonance with the characters. Acting lessons might be my favorite game ever released but I've only played it once because that shit fucked me up for like a week. I let myself get too attached to the characters. Forget about the sex scenes and shit the story just sucked me in. Same with freeloading family and four elements trainer.. just killer stories/writing.
what other games did you like. Ive layed all those and they were defintely some of the best
