Your mother died several years ago and your father has recently died (Happy start, right ?). You are returning to your childhood home to visit your deceased mother's best friend Monica and Monica's two daughter's whom you grew up.
You haven't seen them in several years (for reasons explained in the game). In addition to these three ladies, there'll be plenty of other characters in play (friends, foes, neighbors, stalkers and the "Coffee-Shop Girl").
Now go ring the doorbell. Monica and the rest of the ladies are waiting...
"Where the Heart is" is a first-person POV adult adventure where you control the Male Main Character. There will lots of female characters (primary characters and supporting characters) to seduce / romance / reject / be rejected by (Remember: You can always reload)
There will be some minor / major plot storylines with a primary focus on conversation based choices & action based choices.
Some characters will be easier/harder to "crack" and some relationships will be a slow-burn romance (or corruption) while others will be a quick passionate affair (or rejection).
It's up to you to get the required results by figuring out what characters like or don't like and making the right choices to get there.

Monica is ugly. As every other MILF in this game. Fucking monster! MILFs are hideously badly designed. Zero sex appeal. My MC in 20 chapters has not had a single romantic interaction with: Monica, Zorah, Elaine or Theresa.

Well, I would say that it's one of the rare games where the MILFs actually look like 40+ years old. In a lot of games they look like they are around 30 years old, that's stupid.
Why isn't there a harem path?
Who says there isn't? In game the Dev suggests the MC can either choose or maybe try to get all the women in his life. That sounds like a harem to me?
He says you can try but he doesn't say a damn thing about you being successful at doing it. And try we all did. But the way things are building there is no happy outcomes at all in sight. Enjoying the fun until it inevitably does blow up in my face though. Nice foursome in the beach house. Nice 3some un the Cafe. Nice cuck scene in the cafe. Waiting to see if there will be a 3some with elaine and Bella, 2 competitive and possessive bitches.
Oh I would also enjoy making Tommy dogboy watch as you bang his Mommy possession right in front of him as well. But then the game would probably end with him going serial killer and wiping out you and everyone around in Jolinas cafe.
As of the end of Ch. 20, I had two different groups of women OK with sharing, though in both cases one appears to need to be the primary and the others just kind of go along with it. I don't see why a future chapter couldn't have the two groups become aware of each other and accept it. It seems like enough to justify a harem tag for this VN.
At some point Monica will find out that you deflowered BOTH of her daughters... Jenna pissed at you over katie & monica, katie pissed at you over Jenna and monica..... So those 3 doors are closed.
So with Katie out of the picture - pretty sure both Debbie and Lily will be as well - the morn after - if you break up with Katie - all 3 a perma pissed. So this leaves Jolina (nasty), Zarah, Angel, Wanda. Bella (nasty) and Elaine will be the one to fuck you over.
Mini Harem - Katie, Debbie and Lily .... or Jolina and Jenna, roo much to ask for Elaine. Monica and Zarah. Skanky model needs to die - that leaved Angel - pretty sure she can fit in with the Katie/Debbie/Lily pod or Jolina/Jenna.
