It is an adventure visual novel set in a post-apocalyptic world with a host of interesting characters, lively writing, and a compelling story. The story of Mark and Aria.
2038. A man-made virus, accidentally released from underground laboratories, changed the world forever. People began to age unnaturally fast literally in months, then in weeks. Desperate attempts to stop the pandemic yielded no results. Hope faded away.
2040. Civilization officially fell. Local wars engulfed capitals and small towns alike. Governments that promised salvation burned in the fires of anarchy. But where politicians failed, the military saw their chance. Generals and special forces commanders of two great powers realized: there are no old nations, no orders, and no enemies left. Thus, upon the ruins of the old world, “Crimson Shield” was born.
2042. In just a couple of years, Earth’s population plummeted by 97%. The virus disappeared as suddenly as it appeared. Whether it was selective or survivors developed immunity, scientists didn’t have time to find out. There was no one left to do the research.
2047. We are transported to the shelter of Mark, a former soldier who voluntarily isolated himself from the remnants of humanity. Whether he enjoys the solitude or runs from his own past is unclear. But on this very day, August 22nd, he decided to leave his fortress… A chain of strange circumstances led him to the abandoned city of Evergreen. There, he found her. A long-extinguished spark destined to ignite once again…

- 460 new renders (Not a massive amount, but for just over a month of work with breaks? Feels pretty good!).
- Over 40 new sound and music files.
- Roughly 1 hour of casual reading.
- 5 new achievements with interesting descriptions.
- Added French and Italian localizations (AI + minor manual tweaks). All UI graphics redrawn for these languages.
- Added a “Changelog” button in the Main Menu to track current and future update changes inside the game.
- Added a “Bonus Content” button under the Achievements section. This is where I’ll add exclusive photoshoots and secret renders I’ve made but haven’t shown anyone 😉.
- Added a toggle to disable Scene Transitions in the settings (you’ll get a warning about how it affects visuals if you turn it off).
- Various minor UI and code fixes that I have already completely forgotten about.
