As I mentioned earlier, the last update was a tough one. Real-life stuff kept pulling me away from development, and getting back into the flow afterward was harder than expected. The result: a fairly small update ended up taking over three months.
So I’m changing how I release updates. Instead of one big update every few months, I’ll ship it in smaller chunks — a small update every couple of weeks that together add up to a full release, just like before.
Here’s how the versioning will work:
Small updates get a letter: 1.6a, 1.6b, 1.6c, and so on.
The final, complete version will be numbered: 1.7.
Bonus scenes will only be included in the numbered releases.
The end result is basically the same — you’ll get the same update you would have before, just (hopefully) faster, as long as I can stick to this schedule. And if you’d rather not bother with the small drops, you can simply wait and play the numbered versions.
