There was no difference in the size of the last update, from any other update in the last year. It covered approximately 1 day of gametime, which is the average for most updates recently. This update also covers one day of gametime
I always use the compressed version and I've never had any problems or noticed any visible difference. You have to consider that this game, is still a long way from completion ( it has a very solid patreon support that are crazy about Anna, and a Dev who is happy to keep on pleasing them for as long as they want it), so who knows how big a download the uncompressed version will eventually be? I reckon even the compressed version will be 2.5 - 3GB before this game ends.
