My save still doesn't work. My game Jeremy was killed and the backup save the dev offered to use has Jeremy alive, that change a lot from the way my story was going. The game dev is doing a lot of money from Patreon and can't fix this "Dylan house on Thursday" bug for months already
You have to start the game all over again. In the new version there are new scenes that were not there in the first version. So all the old saves don't work. You find yourself in a continuous loop without advancing in the game with other unexpected bugs due to the absence of the old codes. Only in this way can you access all the new features of the game

He didn't mean that saves from previous versions would miraculously start working. He means that saves made from now on will work in future versions. It's impossible to retrospectively make saves from previous versions work, because they don't contain the changes that have been made to correct the issue
That issue has been solved, but if you're using your own save from a previous version, then naturally it still won't work. You need to start again.
I played the unofficial renpy remake chapter 1 and loved it but this is just awful and tired of waiting for updates only to find it's still full of errors. So to me Anna will be missed but this was my final attempt.
Yeah. The chapter 1 was made for RPGM and another person did a RenPy version (with authorization). This chapter 2 the game dev saw that RenPy did a lot more success and changed to do it directly on RenPy, but omg, he sucks doing it. There're more bugs than content
You're wrong. Most of the bugs people have at present, is because they are using saves from older versions. These don't work, because changes have been made to the games functionality since then. From this update onwards this issue won't be a problem, but you need to start again to take advantage of that. Because a retrospective fix just isn't possible in Renpy.
That's only half-right. It's Renpy which causes problems with older saves - but it's Deepsleep who don't do a proper job on their own game mechanics.
Deepsleep has corrected the issue, but to take advantage of it, you have to start again. If people don't start again, they'll continue to have issues regardless. It's simply not possible on Renpy to create a retroactive fix. Too many people are not getting the message, that they have to start again!
Renpy offers enough possibilities, but it sure is not easy to use it's full potential. After they updated their engine, old saves don't work. But if a game does not work like Deepsleep's Anna, it's the developer who doesn't get it right.
Well if people refuse to listen, and don't restart the game as they've been told to do. It won't make any difference what the Developer does, because their older version of the game will continue to have issues. There is no retroactive fix for Renpy. The bugged version has been fixed, but this site hasn't updated it.
The game bug after u go to the red light district, it's a stripe club or something. The screen goes black and all u see is the text message in the dialog box. This game needs a fix update.

Deepsleep are one of the highest-grossing game developers on Patreon, but their updates are regularly bugged and not exactly overwhelming. If you are satisfied with waiting for 3 months for a working, small update, then, yes, please, keep on paying...
Patrons got a working update, the day after the initial release. Non paying users on this site have to make do with what is provided, by whoever provides it. I can assure you it isn't the Dev. Stop trying to blame him for something that has nothing to do with him. Every game in existence has bugs to begin with, it's not just restricted to this game.
Accepted and understandable. Still I believe any user has the right to complain when a developer with 1000+ Patreons does no better or even sloppier work than others who have to cope with around 100 supporters. Just saying.
Every game has bugs but some have less than others and they are way more non-paying than paying.

His Patreon is updated regularly, and I can assure you he's available to answer comments virtually everyday on Discord. His website has always been a secondary source of contact with his patrons and other fans of the game

The latest version has hardly any bugs. A lot of people are bugged because they used old saves to play this update. It's been repeatedly mentioned that old saves from previous versions don't work, and you need to start again on Chapter 2 if you want to use your own saves. This was an issue until the latest update, which has now been fixed, but you still need to start again to take advantage of it.

I use that as well, and I have no difficulties. But then I'm a patron and I have the latest update which has been corrected, unlike the one above that is still bugged. I reiterate again, that to benefit from it, you can't use saves from previous updates. You have to start the game again. And once you've done that, going forward you'll be able to use current saves in future updates.

Completely wrong. There are now two completely different paths in the Bar. You get the choice of making Anna the Bar Whore, or killing Patrick so that Anna can replace him. The same has already happened with Jeremy, and at the hospital there are two completely different paths, and in the police investigation into Andrew's shooting there are three different paths
