User account system is currently in public beta testing phase. Bugs, inconsistencies and features not working as intended are to be expected.
I don't understand why you guys have to do this. But have you tried it? The game is the same, just changed the name. If you don't like it, why are you here complaining?
Rather, why doesn't anyone complain that certain models of another game were sold even though they weren't made by the developer? I have no words, that's milking patrons. I guess you haven't even tried it and judge the game on other people's prejudices.
Most games you have to restart every update or every few updates.
You don't have to start over. If you go into your Renpy folder just copy the saved file from the original folder & put it into the new folder. It will work fine afterwards. Figured I would try that first before deleting the game all together. And thankfully it worked.
To everyone who reads this. You DO NOT have to start over. If you know where you renpy folder is (saved files for renpy games) you can copy the old saved file from the original game folder & paste it into the new game folder. i thought I'd try that first before deleting the game all together and it worked fine.
