This usually happens to me when I make the mother and sister work in the sanctuary during late night; for some reason when the MC goes to sleep after that the game doesn't progress the day. Probably something messes up the calendar when the MC goes to sleep without any time for the day; try going to sleep in the evening instead of late night, hope this helps.
In the morning travel on the subway on go to the other cart. And there is also a scene when you go flying.
