I am not a fan of your art style and I never heard of Purosesu before.
But - what I like is the way you try to do something fresh and inventive.
And the way you take your theme serious, expand the roster of your wrestling ladies over time and are a competent story teller.

You know: It's always easy to praise people who have a lot of experience, success and fans, work already with a team and so on.
But the small developers strain themself, too, and sometimes even more than the big ones. Therefore I always try to cheer for them, too, if I find reasons to like their work.
For example:
- it's a good idea to introduce some twins from scotland who speak with such a strong accent that you have to translate them
- and the animations and the mimics of the girls are very nice, especially for a newcomer (I am just not into the backgrounds - but I think elaborate backgrounds are difficult to do)
- and the way it turns into a real training game after a while with some freedom what to do next is convincing, too
I guess you are not from the USA, right? š

Glad you liked the Twins, their accents were one of my big worries before release but the response to them has been great so far!
The animations are a huge headache to get right but I only started learning how to do all of this about six months ago, so it's slowly getting easier and when you DO get them right, it's very satisfying.
After some playing you meet a few tricks of the trade and it seems obvious to me that you use the same engine or system as "Lessons in Love". Which is a good role model, especially if you don't fall back with your style of speech.
And if you watch guys like Runey (Harem Hotel) or Althos (The Headmaster) you can see how much they have improved with their animations (although Runey had some help with his latest editions).
Therefore - I guess - it's something that you can get better with if you just practice enough.
I don't think that you can plan on make a living by developing an adult game - you need endurance, talent, word of mouth and luck - but even if their is little or no success, you create your own world, which is always an accomplishment.
I admire or even envy every developer who is able to create something which stands for his personality.
The modern world has a lot of disadvantages like this whole woke bullshit ("Wind of change" is a perfect example ), but in the other hand, if you just have a lot of willpower and determination you can reach a lot of things which have been impossible to do not a long time ago.
Yes, in terms of framework, 'Lessons In Love' is a big influence, as it's the game that really got me into VNs in the first place.
As to the rest, there's a lot of truth in what you're saying. I'm not naive enough to assume I can make a living doing this but I'm still going to make this game as good as I possibly can.
As you said, there's a great deal of satisfaction in creating a world that other people enjoy, even if it doesn't pay the bills! {Although, honestly, I'd be very happy if it did!)
In the beginning a lot of developers make small updates, but within short intervalls. Possible supporters see the game often, their interest increases and it is much more liklely that they support the devs.
Best example is "Primal desire" from Naykind. His game is roundabout half a year old and he already published five versions of his game. 144 patreons is a success, if you ask me.
There is a bug in the twins 4th event in V.0.2.2 that stops the final scene from unlocking. When given a choice in the scene, if you pick the first option, you will be able to repeat the event infinitely but the final scene won't unlock. To fix this, all you need to do is go back to the event and choose the second option. This will close the loop and allow the final scene to unlock. The current version of the game, V.0.2.3, is fixed.
i like the fact this dev did something different but too be honest the girls are ugly and not all that likeable especially with all the swearing it's just not needed that much plus events keep repeating so that's annoying but there are no hints no nothing to let me know what i'm supposed to be doing i wasted 3 hrs on this to get no where so props for doing something new but i won't be downloading this again
Well, I apppreciate you taking the time to let me know the problems, even if the game wasn't for you. I don't ever want anyone to feel frustrated while playing Falling Stars, so, from this comment, I have spent the last couple of days writing a hint menu for the game. It won't be in the next version, V.0.3, but it's written, tested and ready for V.0.4.
As to your comment about the girls being 'ugly' and 'swear too much'...ummm...well, I'm not gonna tell ya exactly what they said about that, just....just tread careful if ya in Todogawa, dude, you're not the biggest face there right now ! Hehehe, seriously, thanks for the critique, maybe you give us another chance from version 4, huh?
fair enough and thank you for not being one of these devs who don't take criticism all that well so thanks for taking the time to actually change stuff to make it more enjoyable and most def will give it another chance to be honest i was bit of a dick to say they were ugly i tend to be a dick if i'm tired
No problem, man! And hey, don't worry, no ego here. If I've done something wrong or badly, I wanna know about it. The quality of the game always comes first for me. I might not always get it right first time but I'm not too proud to fix my mistakes š

i see more good reviews than bad so why not i'll give it a try and update when done.
i havent completed to current release yet but so far its actually quite enjoyable. biggest thing of note im not to fond of is the absurd amount of cursing, cut the cursing down to half of what it is and i feel like conversations between characters would flow better but thats just me everyone will have their own opinion on that matter. other note is some of the "role playing" parts could be played better instead of an ex fighter (mc) being almost afraid to get into it.

the "hate" sex with saki and the dominate sex with those wolf/sheep girls (i cant recall their names). i just feel like mc could've gotten into the parts better for those cause the way it is now he seems uncomfortable with them. but hey either way i enjoyed the game and cant wait to see where it goes so keep up the good work mate
Ah, OK, I got you! That's actually a pretty good note, so thank you for that! I will try to let the MC off the leash a bit more in those kind of scenes in future and maybe go back and rework the dialogue on some of the older ones when I get the time š

pretty good characters and decent sex scenes (not gonna argue with the logic of visiting a locker room always ending up in fucking - it is a porn game).
tried to exhaust every branching dialogue, pretty good amount of content considering its not even half the version number AND no stats grinding (for now).
ended up using "saki's report" function a lot.
would be difficult to find if it wasnt for the red background on the thumbnail, also not being in itchio.
current version has no way to rewatch porn scenes. also no one bats an eye to being creampied ????

You're right about the creampies, I will start having some of the girls voicing their preferences about that! Also, the game has been on Itch since January, the game just gets very little traffic on there for some reason.
