Yeah, no fix for that at the moment, I guess? You can also try to use the "chapter selection" that's how I played the game since there's no fix yet.

I was thinking Alice is great as well, Although all are great candidates. I can't help but notice there are implications based on Melody's interaction and dialogue.
Try Betrayed, Milfy City, The Visit, etc. Can't help much since I've played most games but these games come to mind.
