Patch Instructions:
Extract to game directory and overwrite.
Note: You need to play Part 1/2/3/4/5/6 and save exactly when the game tells you to before you can play Part 2/3/4/5/6/7. Same instructions for switching from Part 2 to Part 3, Part 3 to Part 4 and Part 4 to Part 5 and Part 5 to Part 6 and Part 7.
Note: If you're on android, make sure you make the save at the "Save now" screen. Part 2 will overwrite Part 1 when you install it. After that you can just load your save like normal. For PC/Mac, just start the game and load the save. There is also an autosave in case you forgot.

Dev needs to fix Part 6 v0.88. Can't load save from Part 6 v0.87. Yes I saved my game in the proper location when the game says to save.
Did you use the taboo patch on it? If you did before, and didn't put it on v0.88, then there's your problem.
I had the same problem until I realized that I had the patch installed, and not on v0.88. Sometimes I forget that I had the patch installed.

Just download the whole part 6 again, maybe your problem will be fixed. It's possible that not all files are in the update patch.

There's your problem, going from 0.87 to 0.89. You're skipping 0.88. 0.89 doesn't include 0.88, just the 0.89 content files. Therefore, you need to download part 6 again, not the update patch files. The whole part 6 has all content files up to 0.89.
That's not what I meant. Let me rephrase it. When I updated GrandmasHouse-0.86 to GrandmasHouse-0.87-pc-UpdatePatch it worked "fine". Meaning it took a bit of doing, selecting the right save file to get it to work. But when I tried going from GrandmasHouse-0.87 to GrandmasHouse-0.88, I could not get it to load my previous save file. When I tried to update to GrandmasHouse-0.89 I could not get it to load my previous save file.
Now we have GrandmasHouse-0.90, how do I get that to work? What do I need to do to get it to work? Since the beginning I was always saving along, and saved at the specified "Save Now" screens.
Just download the whole part 6 again, not the update patch file. Have you tried that yet? You'll be able to continue from 0.87 to 0.90 now. If you used the taboo patch, make sure to add that too.
It's possible that something got deleted with the transfer of the 0.88 patch files. When this happens, just download the whole part all over again.
Got it to work up to v0.90, now it wont load v0.91. This it getting ridiculous.
Does anyone know how to use a hotfix patch on a dell pc i tried asking oer on the game i downloaded it from but people keep just flaming the game rather then trying to help can someone please tell me ????
