Next delete comments the dev doesn't like. People like an open forum for a reason. We like to get a general idea if something is shit or not before we waste our time on it. I'll just assume this game is shit.
I'll make it short: it's no secret that the ratings on this site are manipulated. An open forum (as you call it and demand it) is there to respect everyone's opinions and decisions. So I think it's only fair to respect the developer's decision to disable the rating, for whatever reason.
If you think this game is bad just because of that (which is stupid imho), then that's your opinion and fine. Then just don't download it. But stop criticizing others for their opinions and actions and stop hating here.
