User account system is currently in public beta testing phase. Bugs, inconsistencies and features not working as intended are to be expected.
Sounds like constructive and valuable feedback. Why not join the Discord and make some direct suggestions? I'm sure the dev would appreciate it.

nothing to do.. just walk around a broken house nothing works
either you're blind, can't use the controls properly or you've mixed up the game and written this under the wrong game...
use TAB for ingame menu or F1 to display help screen
