And what with this annoying way to put casual words in italics all the time as if every word was so fucking important that they should be written differently to emphasize them, that is also grinding on my nerves...

Hey, Am I the only one here to get the impression that Nika has been lobotomized?
I mean, she was so lively at the store and now she is a robot!
Also, she gets in the way of Valerie when she tries to get between her dad and Tilly.
In other words, Nika has suddenly become a servant to Tilly!
She can't control her powers, my ass, Tilly definitely mind controlled Nika!
This lacks the tag "mind control" because this story is all about Tilly controlling the minds of people around Bryan.
