How can I continue from where I stopped my last save?

If your save doesn't load though, then it's been corrupted, or rendered unstable/usable by an update, and you'll have to start over from the beginning again.
(Had another, much, much longer game do that to me. Spent 5 hours getting back to where I was, with Skip on.)
why is the walkthrough a much lower version than the game release
Probably because the walkthrough for most games aren't actually handled by the dev, but by the community.
(So it's up to someone else to update the walkthrough, or make a new one that IS up-to-date.)

The game is good, even though the babies are hella ugly atleast they don't just disappear like in sts.

I go to android/data/shelter And put the patch there and /files, but doesn't work in game
Like many other patches for many other games, once you're in 'files', create a folder and name it 'game' and put the patch inside.
