you know if i joined patron for one month i would only get one update, to a unfinished product which would cost the same for a indie game which is finished or if i got a game on sale which could also come as a A rated game. the worst part is if i supported people like this i might not see this game finished for another few years, so far been more than 12 moths just to get to this stage. So knowing all this a big thank you to Fap Nation you have help me more than yoou know.
some of these devs rake in 10 grand a month. far more then any professional dev working on say ea games. finished game on ps4 brand new 80.00 its finished with top notch everything takes 2 to 3 years. devs would go faster if paid for the game after its done. they milk those giving and caring gamers. I think paying for someone elses hobby is invinted by greedy people who like a free paid way in life. sad
That's an unfair comparison.
Developers working for EA Games, Activision, etc. are all part of a dev team, and mostly work on games far, FAR larger than this.
They're also part of a company, and the company needs to make sure they're still earning money, so they can pay the hundreds of employees they have.
There's also the fact they're probably (No offense to Patreon devs) far more skilled.
A Developer on Patreon doesn't need to worry about that. (TBC)

How long from when they start making these games until they earn 10 grand? There's a lot of cost sunk into growing their fan base to the point they can make a decent amount. Also very few of these games are earning that much. The biggest I've seen earns about 6 grand per developer. However, that 6 grand ignores any costs they may have besides salary.
Also, as an actual game developer, 10 grand a month isn't an unreasonable salary at bigger studios.
With the game changing from version .29 to .30 after about a month I didn't expect much content but it legit took me like 5 minutes to get the new content added. Kinda disappointing, I would rather get updates that add quite a bit of content compared to like 2 or 3 scenes that are somewhat hard to find out where they are. Like I loaded the game and basically had to go to each character to find the new content.
