Head trauma's like that often lead to loss of short-term memory, and temporary lowering of intelligence. Which Nurse Goodyear confirmed after she treated the MC with 'Synapz' after the 'Find Anna' episode. Perhaps the game is just a little to subtle for you to fully comprehend?

Disagree with many of the negative comments below. This is an absolutely awesome parody of various bootcamp military films, in particular 'Starship Troopers'. Yeah the MC is a bit dim, but since he also seems to possess psychic abilities ( which he's largely unaware of, and can only really manifest at the moment in his subconscious), he's probably destined for the ultra secret 8th Branch (I'm guessing this will be Psi Corps), which probably represents the true elite of the Interstellar Union.
