Scenes are great, scheduling can be a bit of a pain. Overall better than average game. I'm not really into taboo but, the whole commune alternative is really wonky. Just install the patch.
I've grinded now for about 8 hours total and can bang all three main girls regularly. At some point do you get two girls at once? I don't know if I've reached the end of the content or not.
You are not even near the end. There are numerous threesomes and at least one foursome with the main girls/family. The game is longer than John Holmes dick.

You have to grind for total of 9 to 14 days, real 24 hour days to unlock everything. I have played this for two years, since version 0.13.2. You can get foursome with both sisters and mom. You can also get aunt Kate with second mom threesome , if you haven't done it yet.
In addition of foursome with the main family, there is also another foursome with the other family. (The blonde stepmom and 2 half-sisters.)
Was I into this game, yes, is the grind simply put a "PITA" yes. Far too much repeat and then the same start of the game perceptions when things have advanced is a bit annoying. Forget the fact that this NEW Update V0.49.2 released on 23JULY24, but the most recent Update I have for this game is V0.52.1 I just downloaded 21JULY24 is a bit frustrating. Its simply the grind that bothers me the most next to that the Action scenes are not very good or not as good as many other games.
Going to be honest the Dev needs to get rid of 3/4 of the grind in this game to start with. Completely get rid of the ask questions about interest and simplify the talking aspect. There is way to much BS and no payoff for the type of game this is. The story has an interesting take and would almost be better as a VN and not a game IMO. This is going to be a hard pass in the future for the simple reason of the grind.
I didn't say get reduce the dialogue I said get rid of the part where you click on the different cat ie: gossip, politics money.
pls release a fully grind-free version, no sandbox, only VN
Sometimes I wonder if Developers really know what players want. I know one thing I don't want and that is grind.... unless it's pussy on my cock.
Too bad, devs don't realize or care that. This could be one of the best (if not the best) taboo themed fap games if they would just get rid of the unnecessary confusing and grindy progression system. It does not even have to be VN, but they should make it play something like F.I.L.F. or Man of the House.
The current state of the game is that only HC-fans like me will experience the hottest sex scenes in Straitened Times, others will quit out of frustration or boredom. (Sure, you can find saved game files from other fap sites, but it is not the same feeling as getting those sex scenes by playing yourself)
NO SPOILERS: For veteran players coming from update 0.51 to 0.52.1, it is disappointing. New content for MC's mom(in shared room); nothing remarkable. It is about 20 mins of grind over three game days if MC attends classes to get the new scene. MC mobile phone stats will show 'drained' for contact Mom with this new content so you know to stop grinding same scene expecting more. Mom's sexual longing can reach to 217, this update.
Additionally, the judge will request your spare motel room key if you work a shift about 3pm at diner and she is a customer.
Give her the key. Meet her at 8pm/9pm (rollback if you missed) in the spare room. New content choices added to previous. (This might have been from 0.51v. I didn't engage with judge at all then).
For new players, this sandbox is grindy and complex with lot of content and hot sex scenes.
