Unfortunately these games will not have a sequel unless you subscribe. There are many of us here...if everyone gave even just 1 euro for these games...they would be saved and we would have their sequel. Interesting stories and decent graphics unfortunately abandoned there are. I hope to see the sequel.
problem is most devs end up milking the VN later on, dragging it out. then after 2 years of milking it they then abandon it, or rush the ending, so we get a half assed ending. alot of the time the VN devs do make an ok amount on the donation sites. but they still went and milked the game, only to later on abandon it.
this is why there is a lot of people that do not want to pay for it. Sometimes you think a VN might be great only to hate it, this way we are glad we didnt drop $5 on it just to delete it and never look at it again
there is a few VN that i would be willing to pay $20 if the dev would finish the story, but nope the VN sits abandoned.
right now out of the hundreds of 3D CGI VN I've read i think only 2 have had an ending and both of the endings felt rushed. like they had so much more to go with the story and even introduced new girls, then the story just ends.
Another reason why is that there are people who are against these VN games they're pushing themselves to stop these devs. As long as the "cancel culture" is around, we'll never see majority of these games finish. Most of the people who are part of it are spoil brats bitching every day for a new update as if development is easy.
Aye, so many adult games and VNs are just a cash cow, or promise loads of erotic content only to have the vaguest hints of it after years of painfully slow updates.
I'm not very clued up on standard version naming conventions but some get 0.01 every couple of months. Which if a game or VN is extremely large and constantly getting worked on is fine.
I don't want to make too many assumptions without knowing personal circumstances for the devs, but some clearly are just longing them out for years of revenue through donation sites.
And yup I can think of several with rushed endings and abrupt ends to the content for some characters that were initially promised way more content.
Yeah, and how can you convince us if all of us pay just 1 euro the guy will not just leave and left the game abandoned? this happend a lot, and that's why nobody trust them anymore, there was a game called Mind Society, the render and animation where really good, but only updated once per year, ok, it's really good quality so we forgave the time, but now it's has been 3 years and nothing, how can you asure that something like that will not happend here?
