As far as I know you get involved with a rich wife and her hubby gets brainwashed into thinking you need to date her.
It is avoidable. You'll get a choice whether you want to be submissive(you get cucked) or dominant(you cuck others), but you don't have to worry about that, the submissive route is currently not implemented yet.
