The android ports can't be compressed to go under 2GB anymore, and APKs above 2GB would fail to install thanks to android's new policies.
To continue making android ports beyond the 2GB size limit, some of the game's assets need to be stored at an alternate location.
Please follow these instructions to ensure a seamless experience, without any crashes or bugs:
Updating from a working install of v1.15:
->Install 1.17 standalone/update APK (same branch as the 1.16 install)
-> Unzip 1.17 RPAs, and copy it's contents to - Internal Storage/Documents/Syko134/com.syko134.troubleinparadise/game
-> Download and paste base.rpa to the same location - Internal Storage/Documents/Syko134/com.syko134.troubleinparadise/game
This file will remain unchanged in future versions. No need to download again with each update!
->Ensure the following files are present in the folder:
base.rpa
113.rpa
114.rpa
115.rpa
116.rpa
1.17.rpa
thumbs.rpa
Fresh install:
-> Install the base APK
-> Open the app, and grant storage permissions. Don't load the game yet.
(A Play Protect pop-up might appear during the install, saying the app is unsafe. This is because the app targets an older android version. The app is safe.)
-> Unzip 1.17 RPAs, and download base.rpa, 113.rpa, 114.rpa, 115.rpa and 116.rpa from below
-> Copy/Move the RPAs from the 1.17 zip, base.rpa ,113.rpa, 114.rpa, 115.rpa and 116.rpa to - Internal Storage/Documents/Syko134/com.syko134.troubleinparadise/game

I really enjoyed the game. First days were kinda boring but it didn't bother me as relationship and small talk was really on point, felt realistic and going through MC's days wasn't that bad. As game went on I asked myself, where is the hook? What is this story meat till we finally got to the point and game took on from that. I am really pleased with story and characters. More events were happening too which is a good thing. There was some lack of progress for subplots but I didn't mind it.
Game feels pretty chill. It's not too generic, has it's own flavor. I like MC's character. He is not too annoying, not too full of himself and definitely not a pussy. Writing is getting better as plot moves on. It's definitely good experience for dev and you can see how much he improves over time. Most of girls are sexy and interesting, you can get to like them one way or another. I wish Lucas got some pussy, he is such a bro. Maybe pair him with Alice? He had some interactions with her
Normal is 3gb and compressed is 2gb?
This stupid game needs 1000 clicks to get a sex scene (or a single render).

This is absolutely hilarious, and I was a bit torn by the artstyle based on the stills on here but it surprisingly works well with the comedy style in game; this is one of the few vn on here I'd recommend backing.
I'm kinda hoping they add this to steam with the patch option as I'd 100% purchase it. xD
Probably not with the patch if it ever does go to steam but your right this one is quite good little choppy but it's good.
when exactly this hilarious, comedy style part starts? cause a was a good half hour of playing into it last time, before boredom chased me off, coudn't see anything funny or interesting - only dull generic dialogues, and brain-dead ultra-simp mc, no humour or anything.

This has to be the one of the best game ever, not in terms of just raw but the story and content, It's hilarious. Not for those fappers who just can leak in 10 seconds. It's worth a shot though
this game is only as good as it is because of the comic relief that distracts you from the otherwise boring bad meets evil storyline
