In the game Waifu Academy, you play as young man (with a name of your choice, of course), who wishes to seek revenge after many years of harrowing ordeals... The game features more than 30 characters, each of which is unique and has a (hopefully) believable background. Most of the game scenes take place at a fictional private high school called, 'Sazaki Academy.'

Okay not everybody know the way the game update is delivered, because the game update is secretly deliver to his patrons only via dm in dev's discord server to all his patrons who is can be trusted only by his patrons promising to him that game update is not to be shared to other.
Because the game update is only for his patrons who pay money to him for supporting him to working in updating the game.
So only his patrons that know the dev is not abandon the game until now.

he made the game using assets from other game which owned by a company. if he monetize the game through patreon subs he if i im not wrong he could be sued for using assets for commercial use. maybe since u defend the dev so much so u insult others, why not telling the dev the news. i know what assets he use because i played it too ( the game which he use to make this VN )

Hmmm last update was in june 2020 acording to authors patreon, with 1390 patrons ( lowest 3$). This asshole made at the lowest 38k since the last update wihout doing anything.
Another dev that has turned to the scam side.

actually this game is not dead or neglected it's just that the update process is very slow and maybe this update is the final version or something before he starts another new game project.
