In the game Waifu Academy, you play as young man (with a name of your choice, of course), who wishes to seek revenge after many years of harrowing ordeals... The game features more than 30 characters, each of which is unique and has a (hopefully) believable background. Most of the game scenes take place at a fictional private high school called, 'Sazaki Academy.'

Videos are laggy because it's badly optimized. Last update runs fine, this one is half assed and rushed.
This update that was what, 10 minutes tops? I'm also sure the lag even contributed to a chunk of that time.
Second part comes out in "early summer" which actually means to say early next year.
But let's be honest. Nobody expects much from this dev.
You are getting this game for free, So stop complaining cuz you have no right. Be grateful to the developer that he released an update. Support the developer then complain all you want.
the criticisms you make here won't make any difference, head over to Patreon and criticize there. Otherwise STFU and enjoy the game. People don't value the stuff they get for free... it makes me sick that a few months ago this comment section was full of hate comments for Irphaeus, now when he has released the update the same people are now shamelessly complaining. The developer doesn't owe you anything. Be grateful for the updates you are getting and avoid the mean comments for the guy.
i just ignore them, if they are having issues with the game they should report to the Dev or in a troubleshoot forum to solve their problem; if they want more content they should support the Dev, if they don't who cares about them flooding comment section in a 3rd party site. OP mention laggy vids from his experience while i haven't experienced that in any of the updates, so s**** for them.(maybe don't download porn while playing who knows if that was the actual issue)

Try to see things from the developer's perspective, it takes time, money and effort to make a game. I would feel burned out too if I was making the game for a long time. It may seemed like he won't release an update ever but he kept his word didn't he? the least you could do, is be respectful to the developer.

The complaint is quite clear about the amount of content and optimization of animations, not discerning if it's the latest stuff added or the entire game affected by in this version; derailing to a critic and misrepresentation about the content released and dev words.
This project since the start respects an update cycle of 3-5 months and it won't be faster than that, smth followers know.
